Bahrain and UN agencies discuss ways to enhance ties, cooperation

His Excellency Dr. Shaikh Abdulla bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Political Affairs Undersecretary at the Foreign Affairs Ministry, has lauded the solid partnership between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the UN, especially its specialised agencies, in achieving sustainable development goals (SDGs).
He also commended the constant joint efforts to consolidate security, peace, stability and prosperity at the local, regional and international levels, in line with the sound directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, and the policies of the government, led by the Deputy King His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
Dr. Shaikh Abdulla bin Ahmed was speaking during the consultative workshop devoted to discussing and determining cooperation priorities between the Government of Bahrain and the United Nations, held at the Conventions Hall at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Manama.
