Students honoured for remarkable achievements in physical education

Bayan Bahrain School organised a ceremony to honour distinguished students in physical education. The ceremony underscored the school’s commitment to promoting physical education and fostering well-rounded student achievements.
Present were His Excellency Dr. Mohammed bin Mubarak Juma, Minister of Education, H.E. Mohamed bin Mubarak Bin Daina, Minister of Oil and Environment, H.E. Shaikha Dr. Mai bint Sulaiman Al Otaibi, founder and CEO of the Board of Directors, and a number of officials from the Ministry, the Higher Education Council, members of the Advisory Council, and parents of students.
Addressing the audience, Dr. Juma emphasised the ongoing collaboration between the Ministry of Education and the General Sports Authority to enhance school sports. He praised the Nasser bin Hamad Football Championship’s positive impact on student development and the increased competition among public and private schools.
The Minister commended Bayan Bahrain School’s football team for reaching the semi-finals in this year’s tournament. He honoured the school team that participated in the Nasser bin Hamad Football Championship, as well as students who excelled in endurance sports, taekwondo, squash, chess, and basketball. Additional recognition was given to the badminton, table tennis, girls’ soccer, and boys’ volleyball teams, along with the distinguished players and the school’s coaching staff.
