HH Shaikha Hessa bint Khalifa Al Khalifa inaugurates third INJAZ Bahrain Youth Festival

INJAZ Bahrain concluded its the third edition of the INJAZ Bahrain Youth Festival with great success at The Avenues, Manama, under the patronage of Her Highness Shaikha Hessa bint Khalifa Al Khalifa, INJAZ Bahrain Chairperson.

The event, aimed at empowering young Bahrainis to thrive in the global economy, concluded on a high note with 10,000 number of guests in attendance. The two-day festival, witnessed over 700 students, with 66 student companies representing 41 Companies under the High School Track and 25 Companies under the University Track from across the Kingdom, and featured a marketplace showcasing the innovative products and services of Bahraini Young Entrepreneurs from various schools and universities, creating an atmosphere of innovation and creativity for families.

The second day witnessed the official inauguration of the festival by Her Highness Shaikha Hessa bint Khalifa Al Khalifa, accompanied by VIPs including Marwan Fouad Kamal, Undersecretary of Youth Affairs of the Ministry of Youth Affairs, Ebrahim Al Bourshaid, Acting Assistant Undersecretary for Education at the Ministry of Education, Essam Alalawi, Training and Manpower Development Director at the Ministry of Labour Akef Aqrabawi, President and CEO of INJAZ Al Arab, and INJAZ Bahrain Board members.

A distinguished panel of judges evaluated student companies during the first day, including Abulrahman Al Mulla from Alba, Dr. Ahmed Bucheeri from GPIC, Mariam Rahimi from Tamkeen and Mohamed AlSayed CEO of Accelera for the High School Track, and Ammar Al Raees from bni, Shaikh Ebrahim Al Khalifa from Bapco Refining, Bassam Hatem from stc Bahrain, and Safa Sharif Co-Founder of WSI Consulting for the University Track assessing and nominating outstanding company ideas for INJAZ Bahrain’s National Competition scheduled for April.

INJAZ Bahrain’s annual flagship competition aims to enrich the entrepreneurial skills of Bahraini youth, showcasing their growth and remarkable achievements throughout the year.

Speaking on the success of the third edition of the festival, Her Highness Shaikha Hessa bint Khalifa Al Khalifa, Chairperson of INJAZ Bahrain, remarked, "The remarkable success of the festival is the culmination of weeks of relentless dedication and hard work from students, volunteers, and the INJAZ Bahrain team. Witnessing over 10,000 visitors in a span of two days is truly gratifying.
