HRH Prince Turki hails HM King Hamad’s support for Palestinians

His Royal Highness Prince Turki bin Faisal bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Chairman of the Al-Quds Empowerment Fund’s Board of Trustees, yesterday commended the efforts of His Majesty King Hamad Al Khalifa in supporting Palestinians amidst challenging humanitarian conditions.

In a meeting with Dr. Mustafa Al Sayed, Secretary-General of the Royal Humanitarian Foundation (RHF), Prince Turki praised the Kingdom’s leadership, government, and citizens for their development and humanitarian initiatives benefiting the Palestinians.

Dr. Al Sayed conveyed greetings and appreciation from His Majesty King Hamad and other Bahraini dignitaries to Prince Turki, expressing their wishes for the success of the Al-Quds Empowerment Fund in its noble humanitarian mission.

The meeting, held during the Board of Trustees gathering in Kuwait, also addressed HRH Prince Turki’s upcoming visit to Bahrain, focusing on briefing HM King Hamad about the goals of the Al-Quds Empowerment Fund.

Discussions centred on the Al-Quds Empowerment and Sustainability Programme, highlighting approved projects aimed at supporting and empowering Jerusalem.

The Fund seeks to develop financial resources and create a financing mechanism to contribute to community development for Palestinians in Jerusalem through funding various programs and projects.

The Al-Quds Empowerment Fund’s Board of Trustees comprises representatives from development organisations, chambers of commerce, and businessmen across Arab countries, fostering a partnership between NGOs and governments to enhance the Fund’s resources.
