The three-day Filipino Festival, “Hala Bira Fiesta,” concluded yesterday in Bahrain with a resounding success as it attracted a massive crowd, particularly during the evening hours. Held outdoors at Oasis Mall in Juffair, this vibrant celebration of Filipino culture captivated attendees with its diverse offerings.
Visitors were treated to a plethora of small stalls showcasing the rich culinary heritage of the Philippines.
From delectable food items to trendy shoes, bags, and jewellery, the festival provided a unique shopping experience.
Additionally, a live performance stage and an art exhibition bazaar offered opportunities to immerse oneself in the vibrant creative scene of the Philippines.
Sports enthusiasts were not left behind, as the festival featured a thrilling 3x3 street basketball tournament, a chess competition that put participants’ strategic prowess to the test, and an intense dart competition for those seeking precision and accuracy.
The atmosphere was further electrified by lively dance parades that showcased the infectious rhythm and grace of Filipino traditional dances.
Choir groups mesmerised the audience with their harmonious performances, and attendees were even given the chance to showcase their vocal talents through karaoke sessions.
