Bahrain Food Festival 2024 kicks off!

The eighth edition of the highly anticipated Bahrain Food Festival 2024 has commenced at Marassi Al Bahrain in Diyar Al Muharraq.
The festival boasts the participation of more than 100 restaurants, cafes, and hospitality companies, offering a diverse array of dishes and cuisines to cater to the tastes of citizens, residents, and visitors from outside Bahrain, particularly those from GCC countries.
Visitors will have the opportunity to indulge in a wide range of Gulf, Arab, and international flavours, with numerous food stalls and carts spread throughout Marassi Al Bahrain, providing a unique gastronomic experience. Additionally, the festival will feature a popular village serving beloved Bahraini cuisine favorites.
As the Bahrain Food Festival evolves into an annual tourist attraction eagerly awaited by citizens, residents, and GCC counterparts, it promises a greater and more diverse hospitality experience this year.
Tourism strategy
This initiative aligns with the Ministry of Tourism’s efforts to enhance the food and hospitality sector’s contribution to Bahrain’s tourism strategy for 2022-2026, aiming to diversify the tourism product and attract tourists from around the world, ultimately bolstering the national economy and showcasing Bahrain as a premier tourist destination regionally and globally.
The Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority (BTEA), alongside its dedicated teams, has worked tirelessly to organize the festival, emphasizing collaboration with the private sector and ensuring a diverse range of activities.
The festival offers unparalleled hospitality and entertainment, fostering a vibrant family atmosphere at Marassi Al Bahrain and supporting Bahraini entrepreneurs in the hospitality sector.
Entertainment includes musical and artistic performances catering to all family members and visitors from outside Bahrain, with Bahraini talents and international performance bands.
