Diverse participation highlights Gulf Art Symposium second day activities

The administration of the Bahrain Contemporary Art Society expressed gratitude to His Highness Shaikh Turki bin Rashid bin Isa Al Khalifa, Deputy of the Supreme Council for the Arts, for his visit to the Gulf Art Symposium and commendation of the organisation’s preparedness and the diverse participation from various countries.
HH Shaikh Turki bin Rashid praised the increase in participation between the first and second editions of the forum and highlighted the participants’ joy and cooperation in diversifying art techniques, which aligns with the symposium’s main goal.
On the second day of the Gulf Art Symposium, Bahraini artist Khalifa Showaiter conducted a live workshop on portrait drawing in oils, receiving enthusiastic participation from attendees.
Additionally, artist Lina Al-Ayoubi led a dialogue session on NFT technology, attracting a large audience. The session was moderated by Ola Sayed Adnan, a student from the University of Bahrain’s Department of Arts and Design.
