The Council of Representatives has approved an urgent proposal to name a mosque in the Kingdom in the name of martyr Major Abdulla Al Nuaimi of the Bahrain Defence Force.
An urgent proposal for the purpose was submitted by five MPs including Ali Majed Al Noaimi, Lulwa Ali Al Romaihi, Ahmed Abdulwahed Qarata, and Hassan Eid Bukhammas.
During Tuesday’s session, the Council of Representatives decided to approve it and refer the matter to the government. Major Abdulla was killed in a terrorist attack while engaged in duty at Somalia as part of a training in connection with military cooperation.
Three members of the UAE Armed Forces had also died in the attack that occurred in the capital city of Mogadishu.
