Bahrain's prestigious Al Dana Amphitheatre has yet again made headlines with the announcement of DJ Metro Boomin’s performance.
However, frustration ensued as tickets sold out in just 10 minutes, setting a record for the venue.
The tickets, priced at BD30, went on sale yesterday at 2pm. However, the overwhelming demand caused the Al Dana Amphitheatre’s website to crash, leaving numerous online users unable to secure their tickets.
In the blink of an eye, the entire inventory was depleted, leaving disappointed fans clamouring for more opportunities to attend the concert.
To accommodate the immense popularity of the event, the organisers have announced a new venue called the Desert Garden, where the performance will take place.
The Desert Garden is set to provide a unique and immersive experience for concertgoers, adding to the anticipation surrounding Metro Boomin’s appearance.
Metro Boomin, an artist who has not only shaped the sound but also the direction of hip-hop, boasts an impressive track record with dozens of chart-topping hits to his name.
He has accumulated a staggering 52 Billboard Hot 100 hits as a lead artist, solidifying his status as one of the industry’s most influential figures.
However, the swift sell-out of tickets has sparked a wave of disappointment among fans, who believe that the quantity of tickets made available should have been greater.
Many argue that everyone deserves a fair chance to purchase tickets and experience the live performance of such a renowned artist.
