Low-income Bahraini families to receive allowances before Ramadan

The social aid allowances will be distributed to Bahrainis before the holy month of Ramadan to provide financial assistance to low-income families. This was announced by the Minister of Social Development, His Excellency Osama bin Ahmed Khalaf Al Asfoor.
The move is in line with the directives of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Bahrain, to double financial support for eligible individuals receiving social security and disability allowances in observance of Ramadan.
Al Asfoor said that the ministry had begun implementing HRH Prince Salman’s directives immediately, in coordination with the concerned authorities, to disburse the allowances before Ramadan and to credit them to the bank accounts of the beneficiaries on the specified date.
The minister commended HRH the Crown Prince, and the Prime Minister’s directives to ensure social stability for different segments of society, particularly those with low income.
