Bahrain King appoints heads of diplomatic missions

His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa yesterday issued Decree (19) of 2024, appointing heads of Bahrain’s diplomatic missions abroad, based on the nomination of the Minister of Foreign Affairs, and following the Cabinet’s approval.
The royal decree stipulates the appointment of the following ambassadors: Essam Abdulaziz Al Jassim shall be appointed as Bahrain’s Ambassador Plenipotentiary to France; Osama Abdulla Al Absi shall be appointed as Bahrain’s Ambassador Plenipotentiary to Italy; Dr. Waleed Khalifa Al Manea shall be appointed as Bahrain’s Ambassador Plenipotentiary to Malaysia; Shaikh Khalifa bin Abdulla bin Hamad Al Khalifa shall be appointed as Bahrain’s Ambassador Plenipotentiary to Jordan; Ali Jassim Ahmed Al Aradi shall be appointed as Bahrain’s Ambassador Plenipotentiary to Algeria; Abdulaziz Mohammed Al Eid shall be appointed as Bahrain’s Ambassador Plenipotentiary to Tunisia; Bassam Ahmed Marzouk shall be appointed as Bahrain’s Ambassador Plenipotentiary to Türkiye; Saudi Hassan Al Nusuf shall be appointed as Bahrain’s Ambassador Plenipotentiary to the Republic of Korea; and Khalid Ahmed Al Mansoor shall be appointed as Bahrain’s Ambassador Plenipotentiary to Iraq.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs shall implement the provisions of this royal decree, which takes effect upon its issuance, and will be published in the Official Gazette.
