Bahrain, Jordan strengthen ties and cooperation

His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Majesty King Abdullah II Ibn Al Hussein reviewed Bahrain and Jordan’s deep-rooted fraternal relations and explored avenues for enhancing cooperation, mutual coordination, and joint endeavors.

They commended the robust ties between their nations and underscored their commitment to further fortify these bonds across various domains, aiming to fulfill the aspirations of their respective peoples. This came as HM King Hamad held a meeting yesterday evening at Sakhir Palace with HM King Abdullah II, who visited the Kingdom.

HM the King extended a warm welcome to his esteemed counterpart as they discussed ways to enhance the Bahraini-Jordanian relations, in addition to the latest regional and global developments. In his remarks, HM King Abdullah II conveyed gratitude for the gracious hospitality extended by HM King Hamad and the warm reception accorded to him.

Additionally, the leaders delved into pivotal regional, Arab, and international developments, with a particular focus on the Middle East situation and the humanitarian crisis in Gaza. HM King Hamad reaffirmed unwavering solidarity with Jordan in combating terrorism and curbing drug trafficking, while also lauding Jordan’s steadfast support for the Palestinian cause and its humanitarian efforts in Gaza. The gathering concluded with HM King Hamad bidding farewell to HM King Abdullah II, as he departed Bahrain in the HM King Abdullah II evening.
