Jaafari Endowments inaugurates Mosque in Al-Markh

Yusuf bin Saleh Al-Saleh, Chairman of The Jaafari Endowments Council, yesterday inaugurated a mosque in the Al-Markh area as part of a comprehensive effort to restore and rehabilitate 32 mosques affiliated with the Sunni and Jaafari Endowments Departments.

This initiative aligns with the directive of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to restore mosques across all governorates of the Kingdom.

The opening ceremony was attended by members of the Jaafari Endowments Council, Ali bin Sheikh Abdul Hussein Al-Asfour,  Governor of the Northern Governorate, Chairman of the Municipal Council of the Northern Region Municipality Dr. Shubar Ibrahim Al-Wadaei, Municipal Council member Bassem Abu Idris, Director of Administration Muhammad Jaafar Al-Husseini, and a group of residents.

Taha Issa, head of the supervising committee for the mosque, expressed joy at its opening, lauding the generous directives of His Royal Highness the Crown Prince and Prime Minister to expedite the opening procedures.

Al-Mustafa Mosque, capable of accommodating 800 worshippers, boasts integrated service facilities catering to worshippers and visitors alike.
