HRH Prince Salman amends edict restructuring Taqyeem

His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, yesterday issued Edict (16) of 2024, amending some provisions of Edict (6) of 2022, restructuring the Government Service Centre Evaluation Committee (Taqyeem).

The edict stipulates the following: Under Article I, Clause (2) of Article (I) of Edict (6) of 2022 regarding restructuring the Government Service Centre Evaluation Committee shall be replaced with the following clause: Ahmed Khalid Al Araifi as member.

HRH Prince Salman issued Edict (15) of 2024, amending some provisions of Edict (44) of 2022, regarding the establishment and formation of the Government Land Investment Committee.

The edict stipulates the following: Under Article I, Clause (1) of Article (I) of Edict (44) of 2022 regarding the establishment and formation of the Government Land Investment Committee shall be replaced with the following clause: The Undersecretary for Research and Projects at the Prime Minister’s Office as Chairperson.

HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister also issued Edict (14) of 2024, amending some provisions of Edict (28) of 2006, regarding the establishment and formation of the National Committee for Civil Emergency Management, based on a proposal by the Minister of Interior, and following the approval of the Cabinet.

Under Article (I), the edict stipulates the following: A new clause, numbered (16), will be added to Article (I) of Edict (28) of 2006 regarding the establishment and formation of the National Committee for Civil Emergency Management, and the remaining clauses of the article will be renumbered accordingly, as follows: Commander of the Royal Medical Services (RMS) of Bahrain Defence Force Hospitals, representing RMS.

Those concerned, each in their capacity, shall implement the provisions of the edicts, which take effect upon their publication in the Official Gazette.
