Bahrain vows to boost Japan, Korea ties

His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, reaffirmed the longstanding Bahrain-Japan relations, which have grown over the years through robust multisector collaboration and strategic partnership.
HRH Prince Salman highlighted the Kingdom’s commitment to furthering bilateral relations and coordination to meet mutual aspirations. His Royal Highness was speaking as he received yesterday the newly appointed Ambassador of Japan to Bahrain, Her Excellency Okai Asako, at Riffa Palace.
HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister welcomed Ambassador Asako to the Kingdom and wished her success in performing her diplomatic duties. During the meeting, regional and global developments and issues of common interest were discussed.
Ambassador Asako expressed her gratitude for HRH Prince Salman’s commitment to furthering Bahrain-Japan relations and wished the Kingdom further progress and prosperity. HRH Prince Salman also received the newly appointed Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to Bahrain, His Excellency Heon Sang Koo.
His Royal Highness affirmed the Kingdom’s commitment to further bilateral relations and collaboration between the two countries to meet mutual aspirations. HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister welcomed Ambassador Koo to the Kingdom and wished him success in performing his diplomatic duties.
