Fil Am Bahrain’s Iftar celebration unites community

Smiles, laughter, and engaging conversations filled the hall of the Golden Tulip Hotel during the Iftar dinner hosted by the Filipino American Association of Bahrain (Fil Am Bahrain).

Over 100 attendees gathered to celebrate this special occasion, fostering solidarity and strengthening community and cultural ties amidst the significance of togetherness over the traditional iftar with families and friends.

Orlando Fontanilla Jr., president of Fil Am Bahrain, noted the event’s success, thanking military personnel from the US Naval Base Bahrain, locals, and members of the Fil Am organization. The group was also honored with the presence of Mr. Bong Guanlao, chairman of the board of advisors of Fil-Am Bahrain.

Fontanilla expressed gratitude for everyone’s contribution to the dinner, highlighting its significance in breaking the fast and sharing in one of the great traditions of the Muslim faith.

The dinner brought together personalities and individuals supporting Fil Am Bahrain’s activities aimed at cultural integration and embracing the richness of beliefs. Exciting prizes were awarded to winning tickets during the raffle draw.
