Bahrain urges Global Conscience awakening on International Day

Dr. Shaikh Abdulla bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the King Hamad Global Centre for Peaceful Coexistence, emphasised Bahrain’s pivotal role as a global advocate for conscience and solidarity.
Recognizing the Kingdom’s leadership in innovative humanitarian initiatives, he underscored the urgency of a collective awakening of conscience and responsible global action on the International Day of Conscience.
The United Nations founded the International Day of Conscience to encourage a culture of conscience, love, and peace. It highlights the significance of conscience in making decisions and promotes introspection and moral behaviour in both private and public spheres.
Dr. Shaikh Abdulla praised Bahrain as a beacon of peace and brotherhood, lauding the wise leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa. He emphasised the vital role of conscience in resolving conflicts, combating hunger and poverty, and confronting emerging crises.
Dr. Shaikh Abdulla called for new mechanisms to unite people under common principles of security, equality, justice, and coexistence, highlighting the King Hamad Global Centre for Peaceful Coexistence as a beacon of hope and civilisation for humanity
