Bahrain pledges to ensure health sector’s growth

Underscoring this year’s resounding theme, “My Health, My Right,” Bahrain joins in the global celebrations of World Health Day today with a series of workshops and insightful conferences designed to enhance health literacy and empower personal health decisions.

The Services Committee of the Shura Council highlights Bahrain’s role, under the guidance of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, in launching far-sighted initiatives that ensure the health sector’s growth, equitable health service distribution, and recognition of medical professionals’ valuable contributions.

Bahrain aims to promote an all-encompassing and compassionate health environment. Headed by Her Excellency Ibtisam Al-Dallal, the committee reaffirms Bahrain’s dedication to providing top-notch healthcare to both citizens and residents.

By galvanising broad awareness campaigns and personal health responsibility, this pledge cements His Majesty the King’s personal investment in optimising the healthcare sector.
