Bahraini MPs celebrated His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa’s royal decree offering a pardon, which brought immense joy to the families of the inmates, especially as Eid Al-Fitr is set to begin tomorrow.

They emphasised the continuous efforts of HM the King to bring happiness to his citizens on various occasions and holidays. MPs highlighted that such acts of pardon are not unfamiliar from HM King Hamad, reflecting his ongoing commitment to the welfare and happiness of his people.

Generosity

MP Maryam Al-Dhaen praised His Majesty’s generosity and emphasised the pardon’s reflection of his commitment to spreading peace and love through human values and tolerance.

Al-Dhaen highlighted the significance of the pardon, noting its alignment with His Majesty’s vision of justice and mercy, as well as his efforts to enhance humanity and solidarity in Bahraini society.

She emphasised that the gesture provides the pardoned individuals with an opportunity to reintegrate into society and contribute to the nation’s development. The MP underscored the impact of the pardon on the pardoned individuals and their families, emphasizing His Majesty’s tradition of issuing pardons during religious and national occasions to spread joy throughout Bahrain.

She reiterated that the pardon reinforces HM the King’s dedication to societal cohesion, protecting civil rights, and upholding justice while considering the humanitarian conditions of the convicts.

Al-Dhaen commended Bahrain’s progress in various fields, particularly in the realm of human rights, under His Majesty’s leadership. The royal pardon, she concluded, represents a pivotal step towards furthering Bahrain’s growth, progress, and prosperity.

Deep care MP Jalila Al-Sayyid emphasised the compassionate and paternal nature of HM King Hamad’s initiative, reflecting his deep care for all citizens regardless of sect or affiliation. She noted the widespread joy across Bahrain, describing the pardon as a significant milestone in the nation’s modern history and His Majesty’s reform era.

Al-Sayyid highlighted the unique significance of this year’s Eid, with the pardon amplifying the celebration. She expressed profound gratitude to HM the King, emphasising the enduring impact of his benevolent gesture on the nation.

Humanitarian initiative MP Mahmood Fardan conveyed the Muslim League Association’s commendation for the royal decree. Fardan expressed gratitude to HM King Hamad for what he described as a “noble paternal and humanitarian initiative.”

He emphasised the significance of His Majesty’s successive initiatives, highlighting their embodiment of tolerance, nobility, and generosity. The Muslim League Association underscored the importance of this generous gesture during the final days of Ramadan and the onset of Eid Al-Fitr.

They noted that it reflects His Majesty’s commitment to honoUring religious occasions, preserving noble values, and reuniting families. It also aligns with HM the King’s compassionate approach, fostering societal cohesion, security, stability, development, and hope. Advocating for a renewed sense of optimism, positivity, and creativity, the association aims to foster a spirit of joy and happiness across the Kingdom.
