Bahrain King hails Al-Quds humanitarian efforts

His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa commended the noble humanitarian role played by the Board of Trustees of the Al-Quds Empowerment Fund, citing its efforts to support the Palestinians and alleviate their suffering by launching development projects, programmes, and basic services in Jerusalem.

HM the King affirmed the kingdom’s support for the AlQuds Empowerment Fund’s endeavours, based on its firm stance towards the Palestinian people and their just cause.

This came as HM King Hamad received at the Al-Safriya Palace yesterday His Royal Highness Prince Turki bin Faisal bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Board of Trustees Chairman of the AlQuds Empowerment Fund, and his accompanying delegation, who are on a visit to the kingdom.

HRH Prince Turki bin Faisal briefed His Majesty about the AlQuds Empowerment Fund’s goals and efforts to empower the Palestinians in Jerusalem to support them economically and socially, as well as provide them with basic needs across all vital sectors.

His Royal Highness highly valued HM the King’s benevolent humanitarian initiatives in supporting the Palestinian people in various humanitarian circumstances, praising Bahrain’s efforts in this regard.

In this regard, His Majesty highlighted the major role played by the Royal Humanitarian Foundation (RHF), led by His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, HM the King’s Representative for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, in implementing many development and humanitarian projects and providing relief aid to the Palestinian people, in addition to those of other countries.

HM the King expressed pride in the distinguished and robust fraternal relations between the kingdoms of Bahrain and Saudi Arabia and their peoples, affirming their shared keenness to bolster bilateral ties in various fields.
