To spotlight Bahrain's rich cultural legacy and historic sites, the Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority (BTEA) is gearing up to offer guided tours in three prominent tourist destinations across the Kingdom.
BTEA is planning to get this done through qualified Destination Management Companies (DMCs), for which it has also launched a tender inviting proposal.
The selected DMCs will be tasked with contracting licensed Bahraini tour guides who will conduct informative and engaging tours for visitors.
These tours will take place in designated visitor center areas within the three locations, where tourists will receive informative materials detailing their itinerary.
However, it's crucial to note that only bidders with relevant Commercial Registration (CR) activity will be considered for evaluation. Activities such as arranging and assembling tours are deemed acceptable for this tender, ensuring that qualified entities with the necessary expertise are given the opportunity to participate.
Through these guided tours, tourists will have the opportunity to explore and appreciate the beauty and history of Bahrain's major tourist areas, contributing to the overall growth and promotion of tourism in the kingdom.
If interested in being a part, make sure to submit bids with a BD500 bond before the 8th of May 2024.
BTEA will award a threemonth contract to a successful candidate. The initial bond should be in the form of a Certified Cheque, Bank Guarantee, Insurance Policy or Cash (or as specified in the Tender Documents) valid for the duration specified.
