Gulf Air to resume Bahrain-Iraq flights

Bahrain's national carrier, Gulf Air, announced the reinstatement of its flights between Bahrain and Iraq.
Gulf Air Group Chairman H.E. Zayed bin Rashid Al Zayani expressed his satisfaction at the revival of direct flights, highlighting their significance in expanding the company’s network.
The resumption marks a significant milestone, reaffirming Gulf Air’s commitment to enhancing connectivity between Bahrain and Iraq.
The airline’s flights to Iraq, which commenced in 1974, were temporarily suspended due to the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020.
The decision to resume services underscores Gulf Air’s determination to adapt and respond to changing circumstances.
While flight schedules and details are yet to be finalised, Gulf Air assures passengers that all necessary official procedures will be completed promptly.
Gulf Air is now preparing to recommence operations between Bahrain and key Iraqi destinations, including Baghdad, Najaf, and Erbil, as well as the flight timings and numbers.
