Indian Fine Arts Society Celebrates 50 Years with Fusion Extravaganza

The Indian Fine Arts Society (IFAS), a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting classical music, dance, and fine arts in Bahrain, celebrated its 50th anniversary in grand style on April 25.
The event, held at the Cultural Hall in Manama, showcased the vibrant tapestry of Indian, Spanish, and Korean cultures through a unique fusion performance.
Titled “Borders and Beyond,” the evening highlighted the power of tradition and innovation in strengthening not only nations but also artistic expression.
The program featured captivating dance presentations, including a mesmerizing fusion of Kathak with Flamenco, and a breathtaking display of Manipuri dance alongside its Korean counterpart.
The event was graced by the presence of distinguished guests, including H.E. Mr. Vinod Jacob, Ambassador of India to Bahrain, Dr. Maryam Al Jalahma, CEO of Government Hospitals, H.E. Dr. Mohammed Al Khoazie, Shura Council Member, H.E. Dr. Bahia Al Jishi, Member of the Supreme Council for Women, and dignitaries from various embassies.
With around 300 attendees, the evening was a resounding success, highlighting IFAS’s commitment to promoting cultural exchange and artistic appreciation in Bahrain for the past five decades.
