Prime minister’s journalism award: Applications closed, jury set to begin evaluations

Dr. Ramzan bin Abdullah Al Noaimi, the Minister of Information, announced the closure of applications for the eighth edition of the Prime Minister’s Award for Journalism.

The jury will soon commence the evaluation process to select the winners.

Dr. Al Noaimi expressed gratitude to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, for their unwavering support towards Bahraini journalists.

He highlighted their role in empowering journalists to contribute significantly to the nation’s development through responsible speech and opinion.

Dr. Al Noaimi further highlighted the increased demand for participation in this year’s award, especially from young media talent from colleges of journalism and media.

He also mentioned the addition of new categories to the award, enhancing its scope and inclusivity.
