Bahraini Ambassador’s Residence Robbed
The house of the Bahraini Ambassador to Kuwait was robbed on Sunday, Kuwaiti authorities confirmed.
Quoting diplomatic sources, Kuwaiti daily Al Watan said “as much as KWD200 (BD247) was stolen from the house of Ambassador Shaikh Khalifa bin Hamad Al Khalifa by an unidentified intruder.”
The newspaper said the incident was reported at 4 pm on Sunday. “After inspecting the scene, Al Adailiya police station head Captain Dr. Mohammed Al Shimmari stated that several receivers, satellite subscription cards and an iPhone were stolen from the house,” the journal reported.
It also said, “Sources added that the ambassador didn’t accuse anyone of the theft and security personnel took all legal procedures. The ambassador thanked the security personnel that investigated the matter. Foreign Affairs Ministry didn’t comment on the matter.
