Bahrain backs Arab unity for economic progress

His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, reaffirmed Bahrain’s commitment to supporting Arab initiatives aimed at advancing economic and social integration.

Emphasising the need for coordination amidst global economic shifts, HRH Prince Salman emphasised the Kingdom’s role in fostering economic growth.

HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister was speaking as he met yesterday with the heads of delegations participating in the preparatory meetings of the Economic and Social Council of the Arab League on the level of the 33rd Arab Summit, which will be held on May 16 under the presidency of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.

His Royal Highness underscored the importance of ongoing progress and development across all sectors, particularly the economic and social sectors, to achieve the joint aspirations and visions of forward-thinking Arab leaders.

He welcomed the heads of delegations to the Kingdom and wished them success in achieving the goals and aspirations of the meeting.

HRH Prince Salman stressed that the economy, along with security and fairness, are essential pillars for development.
