The Bahrain Bodybuilding and Fitness Federation is gearing up for a momentous occasion: the inauguration ceremony of the first physical training licence and the graduation of the first batch of the personal training specialist programme held by the Bahrain Fitness Academy.
The event is scheduled to take place on 18 May at the auditorium of the Bahrain National Stadium.
Sami Al Haddad, President of the Bahrain Bodybuilding and Fitness Federation, expressed his satisfaction with the inauguration of the first physical training licence accredited by the federation and the graduation of the first batch from the Advanced Training Specialist Diploma Programme.
He emphasised that this accomplishment is the outcome of collaborative efforts between the federation and the Bahrain Fitness Academy.
He also pointed out that the academy now falls under the federation’s umbrella. Al Haddad set his sights on a mission to sculpt the future of Bahrain’s youth, to chisel their talents through a slew of programmes aimed at honing their prowess in fitness and bodybuilding.
These efforts go hand in hand with the policies and directions set forth by the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, the General Sports Authority, and the Bahrain Olympic Committee.
Al Haddad said, “We aspire to forge a robust collaboration with the Labour Fund (Tamkeen) in training and qualifying Bahraini cadres in these courses, thereby positioning the Bahraini as the preeminent choice for employment in private sports clubs, gymnasiums, and fitness training establishments.
This mechanism will be announced soon with all its particulars that focus on the interests of national cadres and contribute to their advancement.” Al Haddad also commended the significant efforts made by the Bahrain Fitness Academy, led by its President, Mr. Hamad Al Nuaimi, as well as all the parties involved in achieving this success.
