Beloved Indian expat to be laid to rest tomorrow

Indian expatriate and long-time Bahrain resident George Easo, aged 60, passed away on May 11th, 2024, leaving behind a legacy of community service and dedication.
Born on October 26th, 1963, in Pynummoodu, Kerala, Easo was a beloved member of the expatriate community in Bahrain.
Easo’s funeral ceremonies will be held at St. Christopher’s Cathedral, AM Hall, Manama, tomorrow, starting at 12pm, Bahrain time, and 2:30pm, IST- Indian Time.
Following the viewing, his burial will take place at the Christian Cemetery in Salmabad, also tomorrow, starting at 2pm, Bahrain time, and 4:30pm, IST- Indian Time.
In honour of Easo’s life and contributions, a YouTube live broadcast of the ceremonies will be announced before tomorrow, allowing friends and family from around the world to pay their respects virtually.
