CBB Sukuk Al-Salam Securities oversubscribed by 194%

The monthly issuance of Sukuk Al-Salam Islamic securities by the Central Bank of Bahrain (CBB) has witnessed an impressive oversubscription rate of 194%.
Subscriptions totaling BD 84 million were received for the BD 43 million issue, which boasts a 91-day maturity period.
Set to commence on May 15 and mature on August 14, the anticipated return on this issuance is 5.92%, slightly higher than the 5.90% yield of the previous issue on April 10.
Issued by the CBB on behalf of the Government of the Kingdom of Bahrain, this marks the 277th installment (BH0007H535N9) of the shortterm Sukuk Al-Salam series.
