Bahrain Declaration fosters joint Arab cooperation and stability

MP Dr. Maryam Al-Dhaen emphasised the significance of the Bahrain Declaration reached yesterday at the 33rd Arab Summit, highlighting its focus on fostering joint Arab cooperation across various sectors and initiatives aimed at nurturing a secure and stable environment in the Middle East.

The lawmaker conveyed her heartfelt congratulations to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, on the successful hosting of the Summit.

The summit underscored the vital importance of collective Arab action in upholding regional security and stability, aligned with principles of coexistence and dialogue.

The declaration’s call to halt aggression against Gaza reaffirmed the Kingdom’s steadfast stance on the Palestinian issue, advocating for a comprehensive solution to alleviate human suffering and prevent further escalation of conflicts in the region.

Addressing diverse regional challenges, the declaration encompassed issues concerning Sudan, Syria, Yemen, Libya, Lebanon, and Somalia, stressing respect for sovereignty and independence while advancing sustainable development goals tailored to meet the aspirations of each nation’s populace.

MP Al-Dhaen also applauded the declaration’s recognition of the UAE’s sovereignty over its three islands.
