Clearing a plot for Al-Fateh Highway expansion may cost around BD73,000, according to the bid submitted for the project.
According to information published on the Bahrain Tender Board website, a firm named Interlock Maintenance Construction has submitted a proposal of BD293,000 for the contract to execute demolition works at Ghirayfah as part of this expansion.
This project is part of a larger initiative to upgrade Bahrain’s infrastructure and improve the national transportation network.
The demolition will involve four multi-story buildings and a substructure in the Ghirayfah district, clearing five plots to facilitate the highway’s widening from the Mina Salman Junction to the Al Juffair Avenue Junction.
