His Excellency Engineer Kamal bin Ahmed Mohammed, Chairman of the Electricity and Water Authority (EWA), has reiterated Bahrain’s commitment to adopting and implementing best practices to meet the increasing demand for electrical energy.
These efforts are crucial for the Kingdom’s development and urban, industrial, and commercial expansion, aligning with executive and operational plans to deliver top-quality electricity and water services to citizens and residents, ensuring the highest levels of reliability and quality in pursuit of sustainable development goals. This statement was made during an inspection visit conducted by Eng. Kamal, accompanied by H.E. Yasser bin Ibrahim Humaidan, Minister of Electricity and Water Affairs, to the Capital Governorate Emergency Center.
This visit is part of a series of inspections aimed at assessing the readiness and capability of emergency and maintenance centers to handle various situations, thus ensuring the sustainability of electricity and water services. Humaidan highlighted that the EWA operates through four emergency and maintenance centers distributed across different governorates. These centers function as integrated teams to inspect stations.
