The Ministry of Works is pressing ahead with the construction of a comprehensive social services complex in Isa Town.

This project falls in line with its initiatives to back up the programmes and plans of the Ministry of Labour and the Ministry of Social Development.

The Assistant Undersecretary for Construction Projects and Maintenance, Mariam Ameen, recently visited the site, accompanied by Mrs Hala Farouk AlMoayyed, Executive Director of AlMoayyed Contracting Group.

During the visit, Eng. Ameen highlighted that the complex is a key development project generously funded by the Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development.

This state-of-the-art facility will house three main centres:

• Academic and Vocational Rehabilitation Centre:Providing individuals with the necessary skills and knowledge to achieve academic and professional success.

• Parental Care Centre: Offering support and resources to parents and caregivers.

• Isa Town Social Centre: Serving as a hub for community engagement and social activities.

Going beyond these core facilities, the complex will boast supplementary buildings, including a health club, theatre, and café, catering to the diverse needs of visitors.

“The Ministry is working at full capacity to complete this important project, which aims to provide comprehensive social services to the community,” emphasised Eng. Ameen.

The completion of this complex will significantly enhance the social landscape of Isa Town, offering residents access to vital services and opportunities for personal and community development.
