Bahraini student Jawaher Rashid Farhan from AlMahd Private School has won the Arts Track award in the “Space Madak” competition, organised by the Saudi Space Agency (SSA).

Competing against over 80,000 participants from seven Arab countries, Farhan’s achievement highlights the outstanding talent present in Bahrain’s educational system.

On this occasion, Professor Nawal Ibrahim Al Khater, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Education for Policies, Strategies and Performance, along with the Assistant Undersecretary for Strategies and Performance, received the winning student.

Professor Al Khater praised the importance of students’ participation in such competitions, emphasising that these events support the development of creative thinking, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.

She also commended the high level of participation exhibited by the students. The judging panel, which included Rayana Barnawi, the first Arab astronaut, was particularly impressed by Farhan’s work.
