Salman City housing units construction set to begin

The Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning, in collaboration with Delmon Gate Real Estate Company, has announced the start of construction on 131 housing units in Salman City.

This initiative is part of the government’s land development rights programme (Sharaka), a public-private partnership scheme.

The groundbreaking ceremony was attended by Her Excellency Amna bint Ahmed Al Rumaihi, Minister of Housing and Urban Planning; Mr Abdullah Ali, CEO of Delmon Gate Company, and other senior officials from the ministry and the project’s implementing company.

Minister Al Rumaihi stated that this project aligns with the ministry’s plan to expand the land development rights programme across all governorates of the Kingdom, building on the positive results achieved in the pilot “Suhail housing” project in the Al Lawzi area.

The programme has seen strong demand from beneficiaries, who can access financing options through the ministry’s “Tas’heel” and “Mazaya” schemes.

The minister noted that the current stage of the project, which involves laying the foundations for the residential units, is progressing according to the established timeline, developed in coordination with Delmon Gate Company.
