Wide range of projects draws 65 bids in tender process

The Bahrain Tender Board has received 65 bids for 17 tenders that were recently opened.
The tenders cover a wide range of projects, including the Summer Children’s Festival, the development of an electronic invoicing platform, and the supply of various goods and services.
The Ministry of Culture has received one bid for the Summer Children’s Festival, which will be organised by Al Dana Theatre. The bid, submitted by Spacetoon International, amounts to BD870,000.
The National Bureau for Revenue has received one bid for the development and maintenance of a central electronic invoicing platform.
The bid, submitted by Deloitte & Touche Middle East, amounts to BD4.7 million. The Bahrain Petroleum Company (Bapco) has received several bids for four different tenders.
The lowest bid for the supply of pipes for the LNG regasification project was BD2.3 million.
For the supply of steel plates, the lowest bid was BD600,000. For the provision of scaffolding specialists and heavy lifting equipment operators, the lowest bid was 155,000 Bahraini dinars.
And for the purchase of high-voltage motors, the lowest bid was BD124,000.
The Ministry of Interior has received bids for two tenders. The lowest bid for the supply of stationery for three years was 24,000 Bahraini dinars. The lowest bid for the lease of card printers was BD223,000.
