Ninth batch of AOU students graduates

Prime Minister HRH Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa deputised the Premier’s Advisor HH Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa to attend the graduation of the ninth batch of 193 students in the Arab Open University (AOU)’s College of Business.

The Prime Minister’s Advisor conveyed the greetings of HRH Premier to the graduates and their families on the occasion, wishing them academic and working career success. He affirmed the importance of the education sector on top of the priorities of the government led by HRH the Prime Minister, emanating from His Royal Highness’s belief in the importance of investing in the human element.

Shaikh Salman also commended private educational institutions supporting the efforts to upgrade the educational process in view of their capabilities and excellent academic staff, praising the AOU branch in the Kingdom adding value to the educational institutions in Bahrain.

AOU Director Dr Moodi Al Hmood expressed her gratitude and appreciation of HRH the Prime Minister’s patronage of the graduation ceremony, which affirms the Premier’s encouragement of higher education in the kingdom.

AOU Bahrain branch Director Dr Khaldoon Abdulrazzaq Al Roomi spoke this occasion, hailing the patronage of the Prime Minister.

He congratulated everybody on the achievements of this academic year in the university’s branch in Bahrain – especially in increasing the ceiling of student admission to 500 in 2015 from 300 students in 2014, and the reopening of the Masters in Business Studies programme in cooperation with the Malaysian Open University. He also hailed the opening the new Bachelors in English programme.
