Undercover sting finds doctor ‘dealing’ CBD oil near hospital, arrested

Bahrain police have arrested a doctor and two other individuals for trafficking in CBD oil, a psychoactive substance derived from cannabis.
The suspects were apprehended through a meticulous investigation involving controlled deliveries and undercover surveillance.
The investigation began with a tip-off about a suspicious individual dropping off a package behind a drainpipe.
The vehicle used was traced to the third suspect, a 34-year-old man, who was subsequently apprehended and questioned.
During questioning, the suspect admitted to his involvement in the drug trade and identified the other two suspects: a 29-year-old doctor and a 24-year-old employee.
He expressed willingness to assist the police in nabbing them.
