In light of recent reports detailing attempts by certain individuals to impersonate the Embassy’s 24/7 helpline number with the intent to solicit personal information or demand money transfers, the Embassy of the Republic of India to the Kingdom of Bahrain has issued a stark warning to the Indian community regarding these fraudulent activities.
The Embassy has emphatically denied making any calls to Indian citizens or others from this number.
They have urged community members to exercise the utmost vigilance and prudence when confronted with such calls.
Amidst these challenges, a heartening development has emerged. His Excellency Ambassador Vinod K. Jacob has expressed his gratitude for the successful resolution of numerous domestic worker cases in May.
His appreciation extends to the local authorities and associations for their prompt and continuous support in these matters.
The Embassy continues to assist affected Indian citizens, including domestic workers, by providing accommodation, emergency certificates, and travel tickets to those in need.
