Five MPs, including Basma Mubarak, Ahmed Al Saloom, Maryam Al Dhaen, Abdullah Al Rumaihi, and Ali Al Dosari, have submitted a proposal urging the development of the job application mechanism in the Vacancy Bank, operated by both the Civil Service Bureau and the Ministry of Labor.
The proposal seeks to expand the application criteria to include not only the applicant’s primary specialisation but also related sub-specialisations and areas of expertise.
MP Mubarak emphasised that this development would contribute to fairness for job seekers, broaden their available options, help reduce unemployment rates, and raise salary ceilings for citizens.
She highlighted that these objectives are shared by both the executive and legislative authorities and positively reflect the goals of sustainable development in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
The proposal aims to ensure the principle of equal opportunities among applicants for positions in the Civil Service Bureau and the Vacancy Bank at the Ministry of Labour.
Employment options It seeks to consider the extensions and branches accompanying their academic specialisations and provide an opportunity to expand the range of possible employment options by re-evaluating specializations and work experience.
