The Indian Ladies Association (ILA) has inaugurated the 'aaGaz' Youth Development Program, held on World Environment Day in Bahrain.
The event was graced by the Hon. President Kiran Mangle and attended by distinguished delegates and esteemed guests, including CEO Kai Meithing, founder Syed Haneef, and principal Gopinath Menon of New Indian School.
Event Highlights:
1. Donation Handover: One of the event's major highlights was giving a cheque to Emma's parents—one of ILA Sneha's children—for her medical care. ILA friends and members made kind donations that helped us raise the money.
2. Kids' Talent display: Ms. Mavleen Kaur and Ms. Aarana Singh, two 11-year-old performers, dazzled the audience with their colourful talent display, showcasing a wide range of skills and abilities.
3. Tree Plantation: To represent development and sustainability, a unique tree planting ceremony was carried out at the ILA premises by former ILA Presidents.
4. Art Show and Poster Display: Over ten children's original artworks and posters were on display, showcasing their perspectives and inventiveness on a range of environmental subjects.
The program aims to empower the next generation to reach their full potential and contribute to the development of the community.
