Fish Prices Dive in Bahrain by 6.6%!

The Information & eGovernment Authority (iGA) has released its latest Consumer Price Index (CPI) report for April 2024, revealing a mix of price movements across various goods and services in the country.
The report shows that fish and seafood prices witnessed a significant drop of 6.6%, providing welcome relief to consumers. In contrast, prices for fruits increased by 4.9%, and meat prices rose by 4.2%, continuing an upward trend. Moreover, vegetable, lagume, food and beverage prices at hotels and restaurants edged up by 1.4%.
