A 30-year-old man accused his ex-wife of misconduct in a bid to regain custody of their children, whom he divorced six years ago. However, according to lawyer Zahra Hussain, the Sharia Court rejected his allegations.
The case details reveal that the divorced husband filed a Sharia Court case, seeking to revoke his ex-wife’s custody rights over their children.
He claimed she was unfit for custody, alleging that she frequently stayed out until the early morning hours with foreign men, consumed alcoholic beverages, and went jet skiing with them.
The lawyer representing the ex-wife stated that the court dismissed the husband’s claims, finding his statements unsubstantiated and unsupported by evidence.
The court ruled that the husband’s accusations were unfounded and rejected his petition to strip the mother’s custody rights.
