HM King hails Bahrain-US strategic partnership

His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, expressed Bahrain’s pride in its long-standing historical ties and robust strategic partnership with the US. HM the King said those relations were built on decades of mutual respect and keenness to achieve common goals.
The Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces was speaking as he received yesterday General Michael Kurilla, the Commander of the United States Naval Forces Central Command, Commander of the US Fifth Fleet, and Commander of Combined Maritime Forces, at the Al Safriya Palace. His Majesty welcomed General Michael Kurilla while lauding the pivotal role played by the US in consolidating international peace and security.
He noted the efforts of General Michael Kurilla in further developing the Bahraini-American defensive and security cooperation as allied countries. During the meeting, HM King Hamad and the Commander of the US Central Command exchanged views on the latest regional and international developments.
