BisB celebrates World Environment Day with successful recycling drive

On the occasion of World Environment Day, Bahrain Islamic Bank (BisB) hosted an organisation-wide recycling drive.
The initiative aimed to promote sustainability and encourage employees to embrace environmentally conscious practices. Employees were invited to participate by providing any unwanted items, which were then collected by the Bank to be recycled.
The response from staff members resulted in the collection of 250 kilograms of recyclable materials which will be recycled with the concerned parties.
The recycling drive reflects BisB’s ongoing efforts to reduce its carbon footprint as well as raise environmental awareness across its workforce.
The Bank remains committed to contributing towards the Kingdom’s goals for achieving net zero carbon neutrality by 2060.
