The Chief of Public Security visits the Bapco Refining Company

In a move to strengthen collaboration between the Ministry of Interior and Bapco, Lieutenant General Tariq Al Hassan, Chief of Public Security, paid a visit to the company's facilities.

Dr. Abdulrahman Jawahery, CEO of Bapco, welcomed the Chief of Public Security alongside other high-ranking officials. This visit, directed by General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Minister of Interior, underscores the commitment to fostering cooperation on security measures, safety protocols, and emergency management.

During the visit, Lieutenant General Al Hassan received a comprehensive briefing on Bapco's advanced security systems and safety procedures. The readiness of the company's security and safety personnel was also highlighted.

Dr. Jawahery expressed his appreciation for the Ministry of Interior's support in emergency management and civil protection. This includes training programmes provided by the Ministry, which contribute to enhancing the technical expertise of Bapco's security and safety teams. Additionally, Dr. Jawahery commended the cooperation between Bapco's fire and rescue teams and the General Directorate of Civil Defense.
