BCICAI explores corporate tax landscape

The Bahrain Chapter of the Institution of Chartered Accountants of India (BCICAI) conducted an enriching session on Corporate Tax introduction in Bahrain at Diplomat Radission Blu, Manama.

The session, earlier this week, which saw 100+ members in attendance, was aimed at providing the audience an overview of the Corporate Tax landscape in the kingdom, which is expected to be introduced soon.

The session was inaugurated by Sthanumurthy Viswanathan Meera, Chairperson of BCICAI, who welcomed the speaker for the evening Mr. Naveen Jeddy, Corporate Tax expert from Key point.

The session covered a wide gamut of topics ranging from reviewing entity’s corporate structure, advising the board of governance on tax liabilities and tax planning, likelihood introduction of corporate tax timelines in the kingdom, identifying the high risk transactions, setting up risk mitigation strategies.

The key note speech was followed by an interactive Q&A session, where the participants raised various queries for which the speaker shared his thoughts and insights.

The session concluded with a vote of thanks by Arunkumar Rajagopalan, Excom member of BCICAI, who expressed his gratitude to all the distinguished speakers for their enlightening and engaging speech.
