ASRY Awarded 2024 RoSPA Gold Medal in Health and Safety

The Arab Shipbuilding and Repair Yard Company (ASRY) has recently celebrated receiving a Gold Health and Safety Award from the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA).

This came in recognition of ASRY’s unwavering commitment to implementing the highest standards of occupational health and safety during the year 2023.

The company was formally honored at an award ceremony held recently in London, the British Capital, where ASRY HSE Department Head, Mahmood Abdulaziz, received the award on ASRY’s behalf.

ASRY Deputy CEO, Sh. Mohamed bin Rashed AlKhalifa, expressed his pride in ASRY’s successive achievements in the field of occupational health and safety, praising the efforts of all the employees for adhering to the highest international standards.

He commented, “Earning this recognition from a leading international body is a testament to our ongoing commitment to implementing the best practices. Safety is our number one priority, so it’s very gratifying for that dedication from all our employees to be recognised.

It validates the success of our efforts to foster a positive work culture that thrives on continuous collaboration across all departments and aspects of our operations.”

Adding to its series of accomplishments, ASRY has also recently been awarded the 2024 Green World Award by the Green Organization.
