BRCS organizes an introductory meeting for its new members

The Public Relations Committee of the Bahrain Red Crescent Society (BRCS) organized a meeting to introduce new members to the society's establishment, objectives, committees, working mechanisms, emergency response procedures, and humanitarian assistance provision, aiming to integrate them into the relief work system.

The meeting, was held at BRCS headquarters in the diplomatic area, was attended by Mr. Ali Ahmed Modon, Chairman of the Public Relations and Membership Affairs Committee, and society officials. Its purpose was to present the society's services, programs, and the principles of the International Movement of the Red Cross and Red Crescent, along with the society's humanitarian values and principles.

During the meeting, new members explored the society's structure, and departments, and selected committees aligned with their interests and experiences for fulfilling their volunteer goals. They interacted, asked questions, gained additional information and guidance, and exchanged ideas with experienced Bahrain Red Crescent members.

Mr. Adel Al-Jar, Assistant Secretary-General for Committees Affairs, commended the introductory meeting with new volunteers, highlighting their vital role in the Bahrain Red Crescent's mission to provide humanitarian assistance. He emphasized their integration into the society's team, dedicatedly addressing the needs of the vulnerable and supporting communities during emergencies. Their efforts put Bahrain on the global stage of humanitarian work and extend aid to those in need both within and beyond the kingdom.

Mr. Al-Jar highlighted that the Bahrain Red Crescent offers an excellent learning and growth environment for volunteers. They expand their knowledge, develop capabilities, and engage in field activities and diverse humanitarian projects. Volunteers collaborate with varied teams, experience different cultures, and have opportunities in new areas. The society ensures direct involvement with specialized committees, providing comprehensive training and qualifications from experienced trainers.

This meeting is a part of BRCS's ongoing efforts to attract dedicated volunteers for diverse humanitarian and relief endeavors. It aims to create a positive impact in humanitarian work and welcomes individuals eager to explore their abilities and utilize their talents in serving humanity.
