NBB opens third edition of EVOLVE Summer Internship Programme

The National Bank of Bahrain (NBB) has announced the launch of the third edition of its highly successful Summer Internship Programme “EVOLVE”.
The EVOLVE programme aims at nurturing the next generation of professionals by offering high school and university students a unique opportunity to develop essential soft skills, including cultural training, time management, leadership training alongside industry knowledge and practical experience.
Participants in the EVOLVE programme engage in a comprehensive curriculum that goes beyond vocational training and exposure to various bank divisions.
Through engaging team-building activities, cultural training, first-aid training, and sign language lessons, providing a holistic approach that nurtures well-rounded future professionals, benefiting them both personally and professionally.
Commenting on the launch of the programme, NBB’s Group Chief Human Resources Officer, Sarah Jamal stated, “By providing students with immersive experiences and mentorship opportunities, we are shaping a future where the growth of the banking and financial services sector is driven by the brightest minds of the Kingdom.”
NBB said it remains committed to supporting Bahrain’s youth through community investment initiatives.
The EVOLVE programme demonstrates this commitment by offering students the opportunity to learn from industry experts while also contributing to the growth of the Bank as well as the Kingdom’s financial landscape.
